The Hobbit was written by J.R.R. Tolkien. The main place was Eland where all the dwarves live. Bilbo is the main character. Gandalf is his helper. The dwarves are the town villagers. The dragon has Biblo's treasure. Gollum is a creature who lives in a pit in the mountain. He wants his ring back.
Gollum has the ring at the start. Biblo gives Gollum riddles and if he doesn't answer them he has to give Biblo the ring. Biblo got the ring because Gollum didn't get any of the riddles right. The dragon attacks Eland. Biblo told the dwarves where the dragon's weak spot was. A dwarf shot the dragon on his weak spot and they got Biblo's treasure back.
I thought the book was a little bit good NO I MEAN AWSOME EPIC!!!!! My favorite part was when Bible struck the giant spider with his sword. My least favorite part was the start of the book.
