DA FOX AND Da CROW
Once a fox saw a crow with a
piece of cheese in its beak. The fox whispered to himself, “I should have that
piece of cheese since I am the master fox.”
As the crow sat on a tree branch, the fox strolled up to the tree. He
said, “Oh, mistress crow I’d like you to sing just one song that I may greet you
as queen of birds!” The crow lifted up her beak and right when she was going to
open her beak, the piece of cheese fell off the tree and was snapped up by
master fox! The fox said, “That was all I wanted. In exchange for your cheese, I
will give you a piece of advice for the future”
“Do not trust flatters”
