A LACONIC

Far away from Rome lies Greece. It was not united like Rome and some of the
Greeks were called Spartans. Their land was called Laconia so they were called
Lacons. They were known for their bravery and speaking briefly.
Greece
there was a king called Phillip. He wanted to take over Greece. So he raised an
army and took over all of Greece except for the Spartans. He sent a letter that declared, “If I go down into your country, I will level your great city to
the ground.” The Spartans reply was "IF". The Spartans knew the king was scared.
